Allison Feikes

Allison is a seasoned professional with a proven track record of communicating effectively with people from different political persuasions. She has a thorough knowledge of U.S. domestic and foreign policy and has successfully passed legislation by building coalitions across the federal government and in the private sector.

 

Before starting AZ DC Consulting with her partners, Allison worked in multi-client lobbying, representing a major institution of higher education and leading association in Congress. Prior,  she worked on the U.S. Senate’s Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee, serving as the Staff Director for the Subcommittee on Employment and Workforce Safety as well as a policy advisor for U.S. Senator Mike Braun of Indiana. She previously served as the Senator’s Legislative Assistant, handling a broad portfolio of issues. Allison also served as Legislative Assistant for Congresswoman Barbara Comstock of Virginia, focusing primarily on defense and foreign affairs. She also led the Congresswoman’s initiatives related to women’s issues.

 

Allison is a Fulbright Scholar, fulfilling her program in Canakkale, Turkey. She earned her Masters in International Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and her Bachelors in Political Science and International Affairs from the Mahurin Honors College at Western Kentucky University.
