Former Congressman Bands Together with Colleagues to Launch a Government Relations Firm Focused on Elevating Arizona Organizations and Businesses

Former Congressman Matt Salmon (right) has combined efforts with retired Phoenix Fire Captain and former Vice President of Government Affairs of the Professional Firefighters of Arizona Chuck LeVinus (left) and former Congressional policy advisor Allison Feikes (middle) to launch AZ DC Consulting, LLC, a new government relations firm.



AZ DC Consulting provides services to influence and navigate government policies and regulations on behalf of its clients. These services include policy analysis, strategic planning, lobbying and advocacy, coalition building, legislative drafting, and political risk assessment.


The firm boasts elevating Arizona-based companies and organizations to key policy makers at the federal and state level.


Salmon previously served five terms in the U.S. House of Representatives, was a member of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, and served as Chairman of the Subcommittee on the Western Hemisphere and the Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific. He previously served as the Vice President of Government Affairs at Arizona State University. He has advised many large corporations and organizations on government affairs strategy.


Feikes worked as a policy advisor in Congress in various capacities for Congresswoman Barbara Comstock, U.S. Senator Mike Braun, and on the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee. She started her career in and around government in Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s office and worked briefly at the U.S. Department of State. Feikes is a Fulbright Scholar.


LeVinus served from 1999-2022 with the Phoenix Fire Department, where he retired as Fire Captain. He was also the Vice President of Government Relations for the Professional Firefighters of Arizona (PFFAZ), an organization dedicated to representing the interests of more than 7,000 Arizona firefighters.
